Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

Account data: name, email, and the profile details you choose to publish.

Coaching data: clients, check-ins, messages, content and application answers you or your clients enter.

Technical data: basic logs needed to run and secure the service.

2. Sensitive health data

Some data entered into CoachPulse is Special Category Health Data under GDPR and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). This includes metrics such as body weight, body-fat percentage, body measurements, fatigue scores, soreness ratings, injury notes, sleep quality, mood, stress levels, menstruation logs, and check-in photos.

We only process this data on the basis of your explicit consent, or where you instruct us to process it on behalf of your clients as your processor. You can revoke this consent at any time in Settings; revocation does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

Coaches who collect health data from their own clients act as independent Data Controllers. Our standard Data Processing Agreement (DPA) governs how CoachPulse processes such data on your instructions.

3. Why we use it

To provide the service, keep it secure, process payments, and support you. We do not sell your data and we do not use client health data for advertising.

4. Legal basis

We process data to perform our contract with you, to meet legal obligations, and — where required — based on the consent you or your clients give (for example on public application forms).

5. Sharing

We use processors for hosting, database, email and payments. They act on our instructions and are bound by confidentiality.

6. Retention

We keep data while your account is active. Coaches can set an automatic retention window for leads in Settings. Deleting your account removes your data.

7. Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your data. Account deletion is available in Settings; for anything else, contact us.

8. Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access is scoped per account through row-level security, and privileged actions are logged.
